About the IATP Conference 2025

The India Association of Test Publishers (I-ATP), the regional affiliate of the Global Association of Test Publishers, organized its flagship annual conference on 17 January 2025 at the India Habitat Centre, New Delhi. The event, themed “Building India’s Future Together: Driving Education and Workforce Excellence,” brought together educators, employers, policymakers, assessment providers, and industry experts to deliberate and advance efforts in education and workforce development.

The assessment and education conference was made possible with the generous support of sponsors, including academic partners, Prometric and Excelsoft and corporate partners Pearson Vue and Collegeboard among others, who helped create a platform for rich dialogue and networking.

The 2025 IATP Conference was a one-day, fully sponsored event in New Delhi. Mr. Ved Mani Tiwari, CEO, National Skill Development (NSDC) and Managing Director, (NSDCI) graced the event as chief guest. The day featured an engaging agenda with sessions delivered by renowned experts on topics such as innovative assessment practices, advances in educational technology, language testing, and workforce development.

Kevin Baird, Chief Experience Officer of Prometric, opened the conference with a keynote that challenged attendees to rethink workforce readiness. He dove deep in the pivotal role of innovative assessment and skill development solutions in addressing the skill gaps and India’s economic ambitions, inspiring the audience to explore new pathways beyond traditional models.

Following this, Nikki Eatchel, Prometric’s Chief Assessment Officer, discussed advancements in language assessment technologies. She highlighted how emerging innovations make high-stakes testing more inclusive and precise, addressing India’s rich linguistic diversity and the need for reliable, accessible assessment frameworks.

The conference ended on a powerful note on the “Three Ds”—Demographic Dividend, Digitization, and Distributed Development by Madan Pakki, Founder & CEO, 1BRIDGE. The session helped attendees see how young minds can benefit from democratization of technology and strategic planning in education assessments, critical in creating growing opportunities.

Additional sessions featured experts from the National Educational Technology Forum (NETF), National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), and other key institutions. The 6th edition of annual IATP conference shared practical insights into AI integration, exam security, and how evolving assessment practices can strengthen India’s education-to-employment pipeline.
